About 💡

Welcome to the Sahib Al-Quran website — though I like to call it by its codename, Quran Dojo. This project has been my labor of love for nearly two years, and I'm thrilled to share it with you. Initially, it was built using .NET. You can check out a demo of the original version here. But the vision for this project has evolved, and I'm excited to tell you that I've rebuilt the website using SvelteKit to take it to the next level.

The Sahib Al-Quran website is designed to support teachers and students throughout their Quran journeys. It tracks students' progress in Memorization, Attachment, and Review, allowing goals to be set for each category. The app then automates the assignment of tasks, helping students stay on track and achieve their objectives.

A little bit about me 👋

My name is Yousef Suleiman, a student of Sheikh Ahmed Alsheikhi and Sheikh Salem Abuammer. Since 2020, I have been teaching at Sahib Al-Quran. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence from the Illinois Institute of Technology. The Sahib Al-Quran website is a project where I combined my coding skills with my passion for serving Allah's noble book. I am always open to collaboration and discussions on Quranic studies and technology.
